I was watching the news this morning and they did a story about a 25 year old father placing his 6 week old daughter in the freezer for about an hour to stop the baby from crying. The mom called police when she came home and found her boyfriend taking their daughter out of the freezer. The baby girl survived and will be fine according to doctors. Can you believe how some people treat their children?!? Unbelievable...

That is my question. DD has screamed quite a bit and I have been overwhelmed but that never crossed my mind. I felt bad enough leaving her in the crib to cry until I could check my wits again.

I don't watch the news anymore. It just makes me so sad. I cried watching the news about the tornados. DS just kept looking at me like "what's wrong mommy" so I turned it off. Becoming a mother has made me worry so much more.

I seriously do not know why I bother watching the news anymore. The baby in the sewer pipe disturbed me quite a bit. I am glad both babies were okay.....ugh.
