I hate waiting!

I know, I know, pregnancy is filled with lots of waiting.  I am 6 weeks today and I don't get my first OB appointment and u/s until June 27th when I am 10 weeks.  That seems like forever away!  I just want to see the baby and it's heartbeat to know all is well.  I have had my hcg/progesterone checked once a week for the past couple of weeks and will continue to do so until 10 weeks.  I talked to a different nurse last week and she said they like to do the first u/s when hcg hits 10,000.  I am hoping they will have pity on me and schedule the u/s at that point and not make me wait 4 more weeks.   I have heard a lot of ladies saying they got their first u/s at 6 to 8 weeks. My sister had her first one at 8 weeks. Has anyone else had to wait this long?

    I am anxious as well for my first OB appt to happen. All I do is worry that any little ache/cramp/pain that occurs is a bad sign and it is driving me crazy! However, my OB wanted to see me @7weeks not 10 weeks.  I am 36yrs old and had to do 3 rounds of clomid to get a bfp (I am not sure if this has anything to do with her wanting to see me at 7weeks).  My doc only wanted me to do 2 betas (5/22 - 168, pg 25.4, 5/24 - 393, pg 20.5). She was happy with how they were increasing so she said no more were needed.  I cannot imagine waiting 10 weeks!  I would go bonkers!

    I am also very impatient. Lucky for me, they call me high risk and I have had ultrasounds almost every 2 weeks since the second week. BUT, I really wish babies came from storks and my little darling would just come already!
