Please enlighten me on what you will be buying for lo's birthday?

I'm at a loss. I really don't want to do toys because I know that's what he will mostly get at his party. Suggestions?

    I am getting dd clothes bc I like rompers on girls in the summer, and most people buy her shorts and shirts.

    We bought ds a bunch of shirts that he really needed and a 4 in 1 radio flyer tricycle! It goes from 9 months to 5 years. Ds has tons of toys so we settled on 1 big item and some clothes.

    Oh I forgot we bought a 4 in 1 bike too months ago on zulily I plan on giving him. That's going to be his big gift as well.

    A backyard swing set! 

    MIL got him a PBK chair, FIL is getting him zoo season passes and I'm also asking for a water table and a sandbox from him aunts and uncles.  A lot of outdoors things!

    Mirena removed 9/13/2018 after 6 years
    BFP 11/11/2018 | MC @ 5.5 weeks on Thanksgiving
    July 2019 - Diagnosed with Secondary Unexplained IF
    August 2019 - 2.5 mg of Letrozole = Never Ovulated so Trigger and IUI were cancelled
    9/30/2019 - IUI #1 (5 mg of Letrozole + Trigger) =  BFP but Betas showed CP @ 4 weeks
    10/28/2019 - IUI #2 (7.5mg of Letrozole + Trigger) = BFN
    11/25/2019 - IUI #3 (7.5mg of Letrozole, Trigger + Crinone after IUI) = BFN
    12/24/2019 - IUI #4 (7.5mg of Letrozole + Crinone after IUI) = BFN
    1/24/2020 - IUI #5 (50mg of Clomid + Trigger + Crinone after IUI) = BFN and an Ovarian Cyst
    3/2/2020 - Taking a break to reset/NTNP
    11/1/2020 - At peace with where things are in life and are no long actively TTC. Whatever happens will happen and it will all be okay. <3

    I almost got that this weekend for Anja. I ended up getting her the wagon with seatbelts/snack trays instead, but I'm
    contemplating getting both.

    Almost this exactly! Water table, we got the land of nod chair same as PBK chair, we also got a ball pit with tunnels.
    Side note we asked family to help contribute to DS college/savings fund instead of just junk toys.

    We got DS a subscription to Citrus Lane for his birthday. This way once a month he'll get a box with new things every month perhaps things I wouldnt have thought to buy or havent seen at the local store.

    Which one did you get?  She got some beach toys from my sister and a water table and tunnel from my parents and an anywhere chair from me and DH.  Who knows what my MIL will find at the store.  She always buys crap and I hate it.

    We didn't have a big party, just some family, so she didn't get a bunch of toys (but we don't really need any b/c we have lots from DS).

    We got her a chair for her big gift (she already climbs into DS's and he gets mad).  She also got a bike helmet so she can ride in the trailer, and a toy shopping cart (we have a play kitchen that both kids use and both seem to like the cart).  She also got some new pjs and bath toys.
