I was getting ice cream with my mom this afternoon and there was a family at the shop getting it as well. The dad was holding what appeared to be a two month old baby; three at the most. As I was standing there, the dad got a soft serve on a cone, opened the baby's bottle, and dumped THE WHOLE scoop of soft serve into it... Then closed the top and proceeded to feed it to baby.

Baby puked, and mom mopped him up, then dad continued feeding him.

I judged a little.

OMG!!! That poor baby! I just saw an article about how they are finding an increase of babies being fed real food entirely too early, as some people cannot afford formula or don't want to breast feed. People are so stupid! They are setting their kids up for health problems later in life.

It was actually quite windy and chilly today. I assume the terribly flawed logic was, "we don't want baby to feel left out!" Idiots.

Um, yeah, that's just all kinds of wrong right there...that young definitely doesn't need any extra sugar or anything that isn't from formula or breast milk. No wonder the poor little guy puked. I try to not judge on things, but I'd definitely be all kinds of confused seeing that, and reminding myself this is what NOT to do...
