Parker got to play with his big cousin this past weekend! It was great watching them play and snuggle. Soon there will be a little girl cousin to add to the love!
My pop pop was the only one in my family that served. I miss him every day! Every time it thunder storms I think of him and smile, they were always his favorite! We used to watch them on the front porch when I was a little girl!

DS is finally starting to jabber "mamamama." My MIL heard him say it today. I am over the moon!
GTKY: My brother is an officer in the US Navy. The first time he met DS (who was about 5 months old), we were driving to my parents' house in DH's big truck. We had stopped to grab a bite, and when we were getting back in the truck, I needed my brother to hold DS while I climbed back up into the backseat. Without thinking, I said, "Here," passed him over, and started to climb up. When I turned back around, brother was holding him out at arms length with this look of terror on his face. I totally forgot that he'd had no baby experience at all! It was kind of hilarious to see this grown man who has been to two war zones be absolutely freaked out by a tiny human.
DS has really started liking me so much more than DH. For a while it was completely opposite and I hated it! It might be selfish but imms when he reached for me instead of DH.
Me: 29 | SO: 28

Anja has been walking for some time now, however it took her seeing her little friend walk, who is a month older than her, to light that fire. She has such a little competitive streak already!
Oh and she is such a social butterfly. She loves meeting new people. She trembles with excitement each day during the week when the doorbell rings, knowing her friend is coming over to play.
Gtky: My husband has been in the Air Force for the last 17 years. My grandfather retired from the Air Force after a 21 year career. My now deceased paternal grandfather was in the Navy i have recenty learned. I have a lot of friends who are/have been service members, but the above two, husband and maternal Gpa, are the most dear to me.

My LO LOVES the opening song to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and the Hot Dog dance at the end of the show. She starts to smile and laugh and bob up and down in her walker when she hears either song
GTKY- Both Grandfathers served in the Navy, I've had three Uncles who have served in the Navy or Air Force. Right now I have four cousins plus one of their wives who serve in the Navy
Jack's new thing is to say "ahhhhh" and pat his hand over his mouth so it sounds like "ah ah ah ah ah" (I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about, it's just kinda hard to describe!) Or he makes the noise and we pat our hands over his mouth. It's really cute!!
My dad is a Vietnam army vet. My uncle is also, he was a fighter pilot. He got to fly the stealth bombers!
Dd just started being obsessed w dogs. When she sees a dog in real life or in a book she tries to say "woof woof" but it comes out like "ah ah". Last night she was looking through the bathroom drawer and she found a box of Cotonelle wet wipes. Their logo is a yellow lab puppy... That box of wipes is her new favorite thing.
