Diaper Question

When I put my lo down at night (about 9:30 pm) he has a fresh diaper on. By 4:30 am he is soaked his onesie & bed with pee. He is in size 2 diapers and last night I moved him up to a 3 to see if that was better. It was not :-(

i have tried Luvs, pampers swaddlers, pampers baby dry, and tried huggies little movers last night.  I point his tip down and make sure it's snug, so I'm not sure what else to do. I want him to have a goodnight sleep without me having to uproot him to change the sheets, and him!

Any diapers that you ladies love for your lo?!?!

DS was like this. Some kids just have VERY effective kidneys. I've heard of double diapering (never tried it) but it's worth a shot. Also, it wouldn't be crazy to try a size 4. Maybe buy a small pack and see how it goes.

  • You might want to try pampers cruisers. Although I do not have an issue with this my sisters son does and she just got those last week to try to see if it will help and so far so good.

  • We use seventh generation or walgreens generic overnight and I'm amazed at how much they hold.  (to be fair we can't use most huggies or pampers we use kirkland diapers which are basically huggies snugglers)

I know that my g/f used a disposable diaper and then plastic pants (from the old style cloth diapers) over it.. and my other g/f used a thirsties cd diaper wrap over the disposable at night..

  • i'm having the same problem with my son! i always used huggies and recently switched to pampers little movers..they were good but i still found his onesie a tiny bit wet in the morning.  i decided to get the pampers snug and dry and so far, the past 2 nights hes been dry! i also make sure the sides are out.  the nightly diaper takes me a few extra seconds to make sure its secure!
  • sorry its pampers baby dry that im using now and works great!
  • We've used both Huggies Overnight diapers and Pampers Baby Dry. Both work for us -- unless LO is up nursing a couple of times at night -- then I change him in the wee hours.

They both claim to work for 12 hours, but our experience is up to 9.

  • Recently my DS has been waking up wet even with Huggies overnights.  I just bought some cheap vinyl pants from babies r us.  He sleeps on his tummy so his front has been getting wet and the pants have been working so far!  I make sure the front of the pants is over the top of the diaper.  I bought the 3 pack for $5.
