Everyone cross your fingers!

DH might get a position that would be overnight completely opposite my work schedule so we wont need a daycare!! Extra bonus is we make ends meet both working about 30 hours a week so we still have family time. Daycare has been my biggest stress so this position would be amazing!!

    will your time overlap enough so your DH has time to sleep?  He will ned to sleep at least 5-6 hours minimum preferably more. 

    Will you have childcare while he sleeps?

    If daycare is such a stress can you both work more hours? 

     

    Most days he will still have time to sleep and on the ones he wouldn't his mom can come watch DD while he sleeps. I just don't trust her alone with DD (lonnnng story). Unfortunately even if we both worked full time daycare would take my whole month income. =/ I'm finishing my last year of college so I'm not making much yet.

    To each their own, but that sounds like it would be awful for any relationship.  I can't imagine never sleeping and never spending time alone with DH.  I hope it works out for you.

    My DH and I work opposite shifts and it works great for us. But he has always worked evenings from when we first met and I am very used to it. We write each other notes on the days that we don't have much time together and eat breakfast as a family everyday.
