I was going to make chicken for dinner, but I forgot to take it out of the freezer until 10:00-ish. It's now 2:30, and there isn't enough time for it to defrost by itself before I'll want to cook it at 4:00. I'm craving the chicken tonight, but I don't want to ruin it in the microwave.
WWYD -
1) Defrost the chicken in the microwave. If so, how? Really low, right? I've never had it work out well.... what do you do that works?
2) Move to dinner option #2, and come back to the chicken on Wednesday.
Re: Cooking WWYD
This.
.... whaaa? How?
I've been known to do this or running water.
Just put the chicken in a bowl of warm water.
The running water is actually a better option (per food safety training at various restaurants).
Huh. Done!
So, everyone knew about the water trick except me?
Perfect :P
