Hardly bleeding after D&C(E)

I had my procedure Thursday. I wore a pad home from hospital that only had a little blood on it when I changed it at home. Since then I have been using just panty liners and a lot of times there is nothing on them, just a little brownish blood when I wipe. I was just expecting a lot more? Experiences? Thanks ladies & I'm sorry for your losses.

I am sorry for your loss and that you are going through this ((hugs)).

I have had two D&Cs this year. The 1st, I was 12 wks along and was having no bleeding when I had the D&C. I had some medium bleeding day one and then a light period-like bleeding for two days and spotting for a week after. I also did not listen well to my Dr and returned to a rather physical job the day after procedure, so I wonder if that was the reason, or if being 12 wks w/o bleeding is more likely.

I had my 2nd D&C last Tues after being diagnosed with a ectopic at 6 weeks. For 10 days before surgery, I had been bleeding, spotting mostly, but some light bleed and one evening of heavy bleeding. I had some spotting after that surgery for one day and nothing since.

From what I have gathered, anything goes and everyone has a different experience! I was only told to watch for heavy bleeding and clots, but said no bleeding or light or spotting for up to two weeks can be normal.

I had a D&C on Thursday as well, and I am having the exact same experience that you are, hardly any bleeding at all. I feel lucky, as I know some people have a lot of bleeding.

I had a D&E in March for our 16w loss, and bled a tiny bit that day and that was it. I assumed they just cleaned things out completely. Unfortunately I formed an adhesion which I had surgery to remove this past Friday but similarly, very little surgical bleeding.

I think it varies from person to person. After my d&e I had bleeding for about a week and a half it was pretty light most of the time and I would have days here and there where it was heavier. Seems like anything goes after a mc and it's apparently all normal.

So sorry for your loss.

I didn't bleed either or cramp until 5 days post..then the river starte and didn't stop huge clots went to OB got meds to contract my uterus because it wasn't contracting...then bleeding slowed and clots stopped. 3 wk post I went back to OB because bleeding hadn't stopped and it was starting to increase and small clots starting again and pain and nausea. They did uteran biopsy blood work US. Which showed there was still fluid in uterus and that I had a cyst on ovary. I am almost 6 wk post and bleeging stopped mid wk last wk sooooo. Hope this helps....everyone i s different in their experiences I just got the bad end. Most people who post here don't have any problems. Good luck

Sorry for your loss : I had my dc Tuesday at 11 weeks, had no bleeding that day or following days until Friday night. It's been light to moderate since.. I also didn't listen and returned to physical activity because I was feeling fine, not sure whether that is affecting it or not.

I didn't bleed till about a week after the DnC. Even then the bleeding wasn't heavy. More like a medium flow.
