Hi Ladies. I'm applying for a position at a non profit and I have a great deal of experience, but a majority came from internships and volunteer work that I had to do in college. I work for a non profit now, and the pay is crap. I mean, complete crap. I do have a degree, but it wasn't required, and I am their volunteer coordinator. The company I am applying to now, wants a salary requirement letter, and I have never had to do one before. I have a really good shot at this position, and don't wanna screw it up. I know, non-profit workers don't make much, but I was thinking 28,000 to 32,000. The job is in North Charleston, SC if that helps, and I have been in the field for about four years. I am applying to two positions, one is a match coordinator, and the other is school liaison. Thank you all for whatever you can help me with.
Re: Salary requirement help... Non Profit world
One of the salary websites lets you put in a lot of specific information about your job in order to find comparable salaries. I think that it might be payscale.com but I'm not 100% sure.
Thanks. I love the non profit world, and I love SC. lol Hopefully I will hear something back.
