Four month craziness

My happy smiley girl who used to nap and STTN will return and replace the beast currently living with us, right?? DD just fell asleep after crying/whining for the last 5 hours. Send help!
Our little Samosa arrives in January!

    She's still happy but naps and bedtime are suddenly a huge struggle so she's often grumpy but refusing to sleep. Not helping that we're at my parents this weekend and my mom is constantly doing the "something is with her! Oh my god babies shouldn't cry like that there is something terribly wrong!" Her solution? Give her another bottle. Smh. I'm goin to get a mani pedi with my sister now to escape all the insanity!

     

    This is my baby boy too, only we are not at my parents house and it's my MIL who is currently living with us who says the same thing about crying.

    MIL just moved to town this week and was still getting utilities and cable set up at her new place so she stayed with us a couple of nights and witnessed two really bad nights with DS.  Normally, he is a great sleeper but those nights he would not sleep for crap and cried a heck of a lot more than he usually does.  I was at work so MIL was criticizing DH's attempts and telling him what to do instead.  When he finally gave DS to her and say, "you try", she gave up after half an hour and said, "something's wrong with him, give him some Tylenol".  Ugh.  I tried explaining to her all of the things that are converging with him at this 4 months and how it disrupts sleep and her only reply is, "something is wrong".  Fortunately, his last two nights have been great so at least DH doesn't believe her anymore and is trusting me.

    DD is definitely going through wonder week 19 & 4 month wakeful period. :-/ soooo not fun. Makes me feel better knowing I'm not te only one! ;P
