This year we're doing tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, zucchini, cabbage, pole beans, swiss chard and a lettuce mix. I'll also probably do strawberries in our stawberry planter.
What about strawberries? Cherry toms? Kale? Carrots? Potatoes? Garlic? Onions?
I have a bigger garden so I have more room, but if I only had room for a little bit I would do peas, tomatos, peppers, cucumber/zucchini, lettuce and maybe some carrots if there was leftover room.
We have a rhubarb plant, strawberries, peas, carrots, lettuce, green and yellow beans, peppers, cucumbers, onions, chives, zucchini, dill, corn, and potatos. We may plant watermelon yet, depending on whether my pants look ok when I go out to my parents this week.

Started our exploration into the world of international adoption June 2012. We have no idea what this is going to look like but we are excited to find out!

No room for most of those. We usually do 1 cherry tomato plant & 1 regular size.
I'm probably not the person to ask as we have yet to have what I would consider to be a successful garden, but hopefully this is our year! We just bought plants yesterday and this year we will have:
4 different tomato plants
zucchini
bell pepper
jalapeno
bush beans
honeydew
And for herbs we're going to grow sweet basil, mint, stevia, and Italian parsley.
We've never grown beans or honeydew so we'll see what happens.
In addition to my veggies and strawberries I like to have some fresh herbs. Basil and rosemary usually are my go-to. I would like to have some cilantro but didn't have any luck with it last year, I may try it again this year.
I have a small garden - 2 types of tomatos, bell peppers, jalopeno peppers, broccoli, cucumbers, and green beans. At our old house I also planted cauliflower, strawberries, peas, onions, chives, sweet corn and pumpkins.
We have a fairly small patch and some containers. We've planted beefsteak and cherry tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce, green onion, red onion, bell peppers, string beans, strawberries, and raspberries.
For herbs we have mint, thyme, and I can't remember the other one and am too lazy to go outside right now. I want to say rosemary but I'm not 100 percent on that.
We have bell pepper, tomatoes, broccoli, zucchini, yellow squash, cauliflower, snap peas, pole beans, bush beans and spinach. Also some basil and strawberries in pots.
This year we planted tomatoes, zucchini, a couple types of bell pepper, jalapenos, peas, green beans and maybe a couple more things I can't think of. We also finally planted an herb garden that has basil, parsley, chives and rosemary. At the end of the season we can salsa. This year I plan to can tomato sauce as well.
When we own a home I plan to grow several types of berries and asparagus.

10/31/11 M/C at 9 weeks 1/12/13 DD was born 4/9/16 DS was born 9/17 CP 6/23/18 BFP EDD 3/4/19
We are done and planted yellow squash and zucchini, tomatoes and peppers, cucumbers and sugar snap peas.
I think I may have messed up and not gotten cherry tomatoes but 2 large tomato plants. Also Alex grabbed what she thought was red peppers and I think we got 2 green.
We started a garden this year, and we have kohlrabi (it's a radish type of plant. We only got those because DH wanted them so bad), carrots, white pumpkins, and rhubarb (which is the one I am most excited about). My mom has a garden as well, and she planted strawberries, tomatoes, and blueberries.
If we had perfect conditions, we would also be growing huckleberries, but huckleberries are very very picky about where they grow and I've heard it's hard to grow them somewhere that they aren't already growing, if that makes any sense.

Re: What to plant?
Do you guys eat peppers? The only one in our family that eats them is DH.
