Hi! Been lurking here for a few months on off sporadically. I think this is where I "belong". Cliff notes version of me; I have a beautiful 3 year old girl with help of Clomid Metformin That combo was Rx'd due to periods not showing up for months at a time, needing provera to start, not ovulating, partly "poly cystic" like ovaries. Anyways, 1st cycle on those meds worked!
6 weeks post delivery I had "exploratory" laporoscopic "day" surgery, due to unexplained extreme pain in abdomen. U/S didn't reveal much some extra fluids, otherwise nothing of concern. Low behold OB/GYN had to call in a general surgeon to assist. I had massive scar tissue/adhesions. Intestines had to be separated from each other, 1st layer of bowel had to be removed, "day" surgery turned into me being in hospital for 11 days, on a picc line with TPN! Medical mystery as to why all that happened
Fast forward, when DD was 10 months I got pregnant! Yay! Well, on my birthday I experienced sharp stabbing pain. It was ectopic. That was just over 2 years ago.
No pregnancies since. Been timing, using ovulation kits, did Clomid for way too many months, Femara for 4 other months, 4 IUI's, no luck. I responded to Clomid Femara, did triggering w/ IUI's not happening!
So, I'm on BCP now which are making me SO nauseas!, also on Metformin. We're in beginning of IVF. I start Lupron on June 10th suppression check June 20th....
So much for cliff notes!. ;

Thank you! Yes, I have had 3 HSG's done to try to figure out tube situation. They are open, fluids go right through. The dr's are sort of baffled by my issues.
We discussed another laporoscopic surgery to explore, however, my OB strongly opposed, and my RE actually agrees once he OB had a conversation and he was able to know further details about my surgery.
I just wanted to say hi. I also think your daughter is sooo cute...love your siggy pic.
I hope that your stay is short on this board.
