I am thinking of you all as I eat a pouch for lunch. My RA is acting up today andI can't really move my jaw. So I picked up some pouches at target and am eating one for lunch because I'm starving!
My mom bought E a huge box of apple sauce ones, and although I give her other pouches regularly, I just can't bring myself to give her these ones because they're shockingly high in sugar. They've been sitting in our pantry for a month, and then DH tried one the other day and totally loves them. He's been taking them to work with him, which I just find totally hilarious... he's an electrical engineer for the Department of National Defense, and works on the naval ships, so it's a really dirty, high testosterone environment... I can just picture him sitting down for this break with the guys, sucking on a pouch, lol.
I asked him what the other guys thought, and he said, "Oh, we all agree. They're delicious!"

I frequently buy the 4 pack boxes - one for each girl and one for me. I love the strawberry ones.
And what is sad is we have an apple tree and I make a shitton of applesauce each year.
Que I'm sorry your RA is acting up! I can't imagine having to drink my food. I hope it gets better soon!nbsp;I remember you saying something about going back onto a medication that will help you more once you deliver, is that still the plan? I know you don't have much longer to go but I'm sure it feels like forever. nbsp;
I'm on prednisone right now and plan to stay on it until DD is a year so I can BF. Unless things get really bad, then I'll have to switch to formula to restart something better/stronger.
Right now I have good and bad days but the bad ones are becoming few and far between so things are improving!
I thought of this board last night in Target. They had a bunch of 1/2 price pouches so I stocked up. The applesauce ones. Toddler loves them in a pinch for breakfast or an on the go snack. I felt okay, they were natural with no added sugar or anything.
Ok, I definitely don't want to start anything, but I just lurked over here a few times to read all the drama (I'm from the June 2012 board), but I am just curious... What is up with pouches? I saw them mentioned in other posts that there was drama related to them. Can someone please fill me in?
Re: I know, pouches are so done but...
