My feet and ankles are extremely swollen. I can barely bend my toes. The worse they have been up to this point.
I stand on my feet all day for work. Tonight I didn't get to relax much either. Having had a winter baby my feet did not swell like this at all with my first pregnancy.
Is this sometning to be concerned about?? Or just something that comes with pregnancy?? Any tips to help relieve the swelling??
TIA!
Re: Extreme swollen feet/ankels??
Same thing here..I teach, so I am also on my feet all day. I have tried drinking a lot of water, and keeping my feet up, but nothing really seems to help
..Just hang in there. My doctor also informed me that if I get headaches or spotty vision, to call as these are signs of preclampsia..
I had pre-eclampsia at the end of my pregnancy - I had swelling so bad that I could barely bend my knees. The real kicker for my doctor to take action (and not tell me "swelling is normal - dont worry" again) was that I noticed I was drinking in a lot more than I was "getting rid of". That and my blood pressure being high was what sent me to the hospital. I never had headaches or spotty vision, but I did have cholistasis as well that was indicated by itching all over - so watch out.
Good Luck
