Oh boy.

DD was taking a nap today and when I went to check on her, I saw that she had taken off her diaper bc it was poopy, pulled out a million wipes, tried to clean herself and failed in trying to put a new diaper back on.

She is too independent and way too smart.

    Haha!

    Yeah, we're in phase 1 of potty-training, aka lazy mode.

    We ask her if she needs to go throughout the day. Sometimes she says "no," sometimes "yes." If we take her to potty she may go, she may not. But we don't really make a big deal out of it.

    We cheer when she goes and shrug when she doesn't.

    I'm thinking the next three day weekend I get that's not crazy busy ( Labor day???) we may step it up a notch and do the three-day crash course.

    That's friggin' adorable.  Mine just gets poop on her hands and then cries like crazy until I come and get her.  And clean her icky mess.  And give her a bath.
