Is anyone finding that sex is almost painful? I feel like I am sore or swollen inside. I thought maybe I had an infection but ob said I do not. It just doesn't feel normal and dryness is not the issue.
I feel sore but I noticed that I'm also a little swollen so that may have something to do with it. From what I've been reading, it's one of the normal changes our bodies are making.

Yes, and I've been this way for almost two months now. Sex seems to make it worse. We tried KY, but it is still incredibly uncomfortable... sometimes painful.
I had that problem for the past few months. Increased blood flow to the lady bits makes them swell, making things tighter and more sensitive which can be a good or bad thing.
Being tight, uncomfortable and too sensitive is why we pretty much didnt have sex this pregnancy. However, now I'm in " get this baby out of me mode" so we had sex last night and its the opposite! I swear I felt loose as a goose! Lol so it can change
Sex outside of one or two positions has been very uncomfortable for me since 2nd tri. I suspect that the weight of my uterus is pulling at my vagina and he's hitting an uncomfortable angle. Add in contractions after sex and poor hubby hasn't been getting much action.
Anyway, not sure if it's the same problem, but it could be.
During the fourth month the hubby and I tried it. Back then at four months it was swollen and it seriously felt like a metal rod was being shoved up there. We have not had sex since then!!!
I found that missionary with a pillow under my butt has made it much easier. I'm not willing to give up sex even if uncomfortable or borderline painful. I need the emotional gratification it gives me.
Its becoming very uncomfortable for me too but in a different way. Almost feels like my cervix is too low and getting punched every second. Yay for sex!!! haha. I do not plan to give it up until baby comes though.
I've felt that uncomfortable tightness as well. It seems to go away after some initial discomfort though. Sorry ya'll aren't getting much action! I guess I'm one of the lucky ones...
TTC since 2004,
Ectopic 2005, lost right tube.

I don't feel unlucky and there's no need for an apology bc I'm perfectly content just talking to my husband.
Yeah, I just felt really irritated when we tried. We decided to stop b/c of it. Not sure what it was all about, but I don't do uncomfortable sex. If I'm not going to enjoy, he won't either ;-)
