At how many weeks are/did you make the official announcement? I'll be 10 weeks when we tell my husband's immediate family which will then mean the entire world since there's so many of them. But I'm thinking that's still too early for "everyone" to know. I'm thinking I'm more comfortable with 12 weeks. But I don't want to wait that long to tell mil and fil. I don't know though, maybe I'm just nervous.
Re: The BIG Announcement
TFMC 08.02.13 at 19+ weeks. Everyday I grieve for my little Olive.
I would not have survived the last month if I hadn't told my family right away. My husband's family doesn't matter...as far as I'm aware, they don't even know he's married, and he doesn't care.
I told Facebook as soon as I told my family. Maybe I should have been more careful, but it worked out best for me.
Same here. We told both our families at 9 weeks on Mother's Day, and then had our first u/s the following day. Once we saw a heartbeat we made it "Facebook official" and called friends.
We told immediate family almost immediately. But today (13 weeks) we made the BIG announcement to the world. I had a picture of my son with a chalkboard that said "Mama's due with baby 2: 12.1.13".
I have mixed feelings about it. Like I'm SO happy I can wear whatever I want without people speculating whether I'm pregnant or not. But kinda freaks me out because if something were to go wrong I'd have a LOT of explaining to do :S
