I am sorry to have to welcome new loss moms this week but am so glad that you have found us. I hope we can bring each other some much needed comfort and support. Please feel free to join in when you are ready and share as much or as little as you wish. Also, if you have any questions you would like answered, just ask! Have you taken any new steps towards healing this week? I've been trying to embrace happy moments rather than feel guilty. We also are trying this cycle so temping and taking OPKs has been a nice distraction.

What is the next goal you have set for yourself? Do you have a plan to help achieve that goal? I need to get back in to working out and eating better. I really fell off the wagon this week, so I plan to start being more active and eating healthier.

QOTW: How did you come up with your Angels name? She was already named before we lost her so we decided to keep with that name. On our second date six years ago MH told me if he ever has a little girl, he wanted to name her Kayla. We jokingly referred to our hypothetical kid as Kayla for the next six years, so when we found out we were having a girl, Kayla it was! When she was born the nurse asked if we had a name, so we took a few minutes and talked about it. MH loved the name so much, so it really hurt to think of not having a living daughter with that name. But we decided it should be her name. We had been calling her that for a month since our AS, and I could never ever name another child that if we went with something else. It still makes me very sad from time to time that we don't get to use the name like we thought we would, but it IS her name and that feels right.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? Since we're trying again, it's a strange feeling to be excited yet scared over the idea of a new pregnancy.

Have you taken any new steps towards healing this week?

We went to a local spring, since our loss I leave and go home when I see babies and little girls around me. But I stayed I looked at the babies and girls had a small panic attack but forced my self to deal because I was there for to spend time with my other older children.

What is the next goal you have set for yourself? Do you have a plan to help achieve that goal?
To make it through work, I go back on weds and I am dreading it already. I hope that keeping myself busy taking care of patients will help me get my mind off of being so hurt.

QOTW: How did you come up with your Angels name?
I was going through names with my hd and we couldn't choose one, after our scare with loosing the twin and finding out the bad news of her omphalocele I told my dh that her name will be Arianna because it made me feel like if I picked a name that day with no more discussing it I could focus on something happy like calling her Arianna my little Air head...

I am trying to help my dh work on our new huge fish tank that he is restoring. I really want some quality time with him. I am also hoping that on tuesday the dr will clear me to start trying to have another baby again.

Have you taken any new steps towards healing this week? Buried my angel last Saturday. That was extremely hard, but healing.

What is the next goal you have set for yourself? Do you have a plan to help achieve that goal? Rest, take care of myself. Going to therapy this week.

QOTW: How did you come up with your Angels name? H always wanted his first daughter to be named Anastasia (after the roman princess, he liked the story) and told me this when he met me! I didn't get a choice, but it worked about perfectly because I love her name and she is my little princess.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week?My birthday was on friday, and I missed her a lot. I'm very much enjoying my three day weekend...nothing big happening (been a busy month)

I can totally relate...I'm so sad I won't get to use that name in the way I imagine. I try to bring her up a lot, just so I can hear it. It makes me happy for other people to use her name as well.
