So I really want to change my doctor he doesn't do any ultrasounds until he reveals the sex of the baby he doesn't even check the heart beat but he's been my doctor for about four years idk what to do
He doesn't even check for a HB on the Doppler? I'd find a new doctor if it were me.

If you're not completely satisfied then look for someone else. I did, and now I'm much happier. You're gonna be seeing them a lot this year, you should be happy with who you're working with.
Mine doesnt do an ultrasound until about 16 weeks but i get to see the heartbeat. I am really low risk, so i take it as kind of a good thing. Even though, i am dying to see my baby!

It is very normal for OB's to not perform U/S's until the 20 week scan. Frustrating, but common. If you are a low risk pregnancy with no previous complications, then I'm really not surprised. Also, I'd ask when they will start listening for the HB with doppler. You said you aren't even 11 weeks yet, and many doctors do not look until at least 10-14 weeks as to not add extra stress to the mother in case it's too early to find it.
With all that said, I would switch if you aren't completely happy, but just make sure you ask your new office if they will be performing these types of checks since so many do not.

All of this. Not every dr will do early ultrasounds. Mine won't do them unless there is a possible threat.
The not checking the heartbeat is what would worry me.
Do you mean he doesn't check the HB AT ALL or he hasn't YET? At almost 11 weeks it's not at all unusual for him not to have checked yet but if it's his policy to never check it then yeah, I'd switch.
I didn't get to hear the HB on a Doppler until I was 11 wks at the Dr and they don't do an ultrasound until 20 wks as well. I think that is pretty standard. You may just be a little impatient. If you don't like the care your dr is providing than switch but if its just the timeline you don't like I think you're going to find most OBs are similar.
