Parenting after a Loss

Lacking in naps and steps

DS is 13 months old today and we seem to be done with our morning nap. He hasn't taken one in the past week. He usually doesn't even seem tired, and even if he does, when we try to put him down he screams his head off, which is totally out of character for him. Isn't this a bit young for him to be down to one nap? I guess we can't force it but I'm just curious what is the norm.

Also, still no walking. He's taken a couple of steps a couple of times but that's it. Still too early to worry about I suppose?

We're down to one nap, too. J is walking [has been for almost two months] but S isn't. Our pedi said normal range for walking is very wide, 9 to 18m.

  • Totally normal both to be dropping to one nap and to not be walking at 13m.
