Play dates?!?

My son will be 6 months soon and I want him to get some interaction with other babies. I do not have any friends with children around his age( most are older than 2). So I was hoping to find some mothers on here who would be interested in doing some play dates or something? Or if you know of somewhere I could bring him that won't cost a fortune. I would be available any day of the week.

    My daughter is 7 months and we were looking for the same thing as I stay home with her and am having to be selective about what we can afford - I have started attending Story Times at the Orange County Library branches. They have one practically every day of the week somewhere around town including Saturday sessions at the downtown branch - we do the Tiny Tots Sessions on Wednesdays in Winter Garden and Thursdays in Windermere.  I'm still looking for other options too so please post what you find.

    I go to a local MOPS group.  We meet around the school year 2x a month.  They have childcare available and meet for 2 hours.  We also have playdates throughout the month and Mom's night out.
