Mother of 4 going through a divorce

Hi Everyone.

I am a 30 year old mother of 4. A 9 year old boy, 6 year old girl, 3 year old girl & 2 year old boy. I am in the process of going through a divorce. I am from Michigan and have not many friends as I am busy working and taking care of my kids. My soon to be ex husband will be moving back to Florida where he is from. I had to move into my parents house so that I didn't have to struggle.

just looking for people to chat with.

    Sorry about your pending divorce. I am in Michigan and my ex-husband is also from Florida. Must be something about those Florida men....

    While I always want to say sorry about a divorce it seems that really congratulations is really the better thing to say (At least that's what I've heard!). Congrats on taking steps to make you and your kids happier.

    I'm not sure whether to say I'm sorry you're going through this or congratulations, like the PP said.  Whichever is applicable- or both, I guess.  Coincidentally, STBXH is also from FL.  He has talked about moving back there but won't because of our kids.  Anyway, welcome!

    In your position as well! Have three kids, pregnant with the last one and am getting a divorce. It sucks really bad because we were supposed ot be fixing it and I told my ex he wasn't putting in much effort. But he doesn't want me to move out of state so that he can be there for our kids and still help me when I need it. Says he doesn't want to see me struggle that he still loves me just thinks we'll be better as friends...not even going to get into the rest of that bull lol.

     

    but its all good. we'll make it through. here to chat with anytime!!! :)<3<3 we just gotta keep our heads up....we are women and we are strong :)
