Stay at Home Moms

It is official

We have been accident free for a week. DS is finally potty trained.

We've been working on it slowly forever it seems, but not really pushing it much. About 3 weeks ago, we ran out of diapers and had about 15 pull ups left. I just was tired of buying diapers. We used the pull ups at night and have gone through a lot of pairs of underwear, but he seems to be there now.

Everyone said it'd be a few days.. because he would go on the potty once or twice a day already. But it took a couple weeks of lots of accidents for him to get it. It is not easy for a little boy to stop playing and go to the bathroom.

  • Yeah!!

It is freeing knowing that all 3 of mine are PT-ed.

I did gradual with my older girls and 3 day with DD3.  3 day was definitely the way to go.  She told DH I took her diapers away when we did it (she was 2.5).
