Summer vacay sleepover

All 3 girls slept on the floor together (7, 5 & 3).  They went to bed at 8:30, had to be no talking after 9.  They were up at 6 am!!  I finally drug myself out of bed at 7 to find DD1 trying to get bowls and cereal for everyone.  I'd hate for her to spill the last of the milk we have.

It is also raining.  It may be a long day.

ETA:  even through I wanted to go back to sleep, I could hear them.  I was pretty sure what was going on when I got up.  I knew DD1 had already helped DD3 go potty, etc.

    She was trying to help.  Too bad the cereal is on the top shelf of the cup board which makes a 7 yo stand on the counter.  I really was just worried about what is left of our milk spilling all over the floor.

    No naps for me today.  It is summer vacation with 3 kids at home!

    We are on vacation at Disneyland. I put DS to bed at 9;30 local time, 11:30 our time. He woke up at 5:00 am local time :/. This was night 1. I hope he adjust soon. We are going to be on the west coast for 10 days. I thought he'd sleep in for sure since it was way past his bedtime.

    I hear ya.  We are also in the Midwest and visit my parents in OR usually every summer.  Dylan is used to getting up about 6:30 here.  At my parents, it was 4:30 for the entire week.  The kids slept in my parents house and we slept in the camper, so my Mom got up every morning and cuddled on the couch with her.  DD looks at pics of my Mom (who she sees one week a year) and says, "She rock a babied me."
