This is really embarrassing to admit but I swore up and down that I would not use a stroller... Yeah, I'm an idiot. Now I have two and I use at least one of them daily.

The co-sleeper I ran out and bought my second week home saved my sanity after failing with the crib, pak-n-play, and swing. He was only reliably sleeping on me or in his carseat before I got it. He's outgrown in now and sleeps in the pak-n-play no prob.

DS was never into pacis until he started teething, now I own 3 WubNubs. LOVE them!!

My husband says cloth diapers and wipes

we love them!! He also says my sleepy wrap (kind of like a moby) it is so comfortable and works great. Both of us agree the changing table! When my other two kids were younger I just dropped to the floor and changed them wherever. It is so nice we love it!

I hate pacis but he is teething and like pp said it works. He loves it now and sometimes it's the only thing that'll help. If he wants to chew them then so be it.
Bottles. I was all about the boob. No bottles. So adamant. Yeah then life showed up and my kid refuses to nurse so bottles it is!
Swaddles. I didn't like the idea at first but noticed immediately how much better he slept swaddled. And this AA ones were great when he was super tiny. The Swaddlemes were way too big and clunky at first.

I second the changing table. We did buy one but I thought for sure we would never use it. I use it for almost every diaper change. Also I never thought I would need bibs until DS started eating solids but it turns out with spit ups and drool they are better than changing clothes all the time!

Bibs. Ds never used them because he never spit up. I didn't realize how rare that was!

I am all about the changing table too. We got our crib for free from my sister's coworker, and when we went to pick it up, she had a changing table pad too. DH refashioned a dresser so the pad would fit, and I got a fleece cover for it. The first couple days at home DS would fall asleep in it after his diaper change, and we would just move the whole works around the house like that. If he needs to settle down to this day, we lay him on it and sing or talk to him, and it's like he's getting a massage or something.

Our Phil & Teds stroller. DH didn't want to spend the money but I really wanted a good stroller that we could keep and use through all our kids. I admit I didn't really even think we'd use it until DS was 6 months (I thought I'd baby wear). We use it almost every day, DS loves it for naps and staring up at the trees. Both my DH and me say it gets us out for walks we love it so much. Best purchase we made by far.
