My husband and I have been ttc for over a year now and no luck. I just found out my best friend just got of bc and a week later had an accident and oops now she is pg. It hurts to know I haven't yet. I have irregular periods it usually skips 12 months. But I make sure to have sex as often as possible no matter what. I want to be with child so bad. What do I do?
Re: Trying. Seems unfair.
I know it's tough. My sister and SIL both got pregnant while my husband was deployed. After we had been trying for a year. One was an oops and in my SIL's words "they tried for three week". Give yourself time to be sad. Like PP said, start seeing an RE.
When I got off bc, I did not get my period for over a year. I conceived twice, but both ended up in mc. My obgyn wanted to give me clomid, but I felt strongly about seeing an RE (just as the other ladies described) before I took any medication.
Definitely check out a specialist who can do all of the proper testing before you choose to take any kind of medication for help. It will save you $$ and time to get a proper diagnosis.
