My OB put me on continuous bc thinking that it was my endo that caused all the problems after C's birth. Have any of you done this treatment?
I feel like crap, super bloated, cranky, tired, and I'm still getting occasional pain. It's only been one month and I'm tempted to just let myself get AF next month to see if there is a difference. I guess I should prolly call my RE too, grr being normal would be nice....
FYI I'm doing the nuva.ring. He wanted me on the shot, but it promotes bone loss and I broke both my feet last year at different times, so that's not a gamble I'm willing to take.

Hey Whales! Do you think your dr would give you a low dose pill? I was on Generess Fe for a few months last year and felt great on it. It's crazy, you chew it and it tastes like a mint. No water needed. I have a hard time with the regular dose BCPs...too many hormones! However, I wouldn't recommend the low dose pill Loestrin. For me it was right up there with Clomid at the top of my least favorite meds list. Good luck!

DP, thanks for responding, I've been keeping tabs on you! Hope you and hubby can agree on a new direction, and enjoy your time off!
We decided to go with donor embryos! Now we wait and wait and wait some more. My clinic has a program but they don't get donations on a regular basis and I haven't found another clinic that I feel comfortable with. This time last year I was stimming for IVF and it's hard to believe I'm still waiting for a LO!

I don't usually post here, but I have been on this same thing since August. The brand name is Aygestin. It has been a miracle drug and that's not an exaggeration. I have had zero side effects and have been able to live my life pain free! It has been so freeing!! It's just a tiny pill, but offers so much help. It's actually prescribed for women with endo, but not many doctors know about it or don't realize the effect it has. I was given mine by my RE while we were waiting for IVF this summer. He told me that I can be on it for years and it won't have any negative effect. And, no AF is amazing
