New and making it official

Hey ladies! I've posted a few times... but have mostly just been a lurker!

I guess I could step out from behind the curtain and say "hello" to make it offical! I am still on my maternity leave from teaching...but will be staying home instead of going back to work next school year. I taught for 8 years.. Kindergarten and Second grade. My LO is 9 weeks old today. Married for 3 years.

I hate dandelions. I prefer super trashy reality tv.

Welcome!! I will have a Kindergartener and a second grader next year. We just got out for summer yesterday and I am attempting to keep up school activities at home. Today was ABC's/sight words on the driveway in chalk, reading a book and writing in journals.

As another teacher, I also wish more parents were like Armegard and did fun educational practice over the summer.

Hi and welcome!!!

My sister is going on her 9th year teaching 2nd grade - she has always said it's THE best grade!

I have DD who's almost 7 and finishing up first grade and a DS who's turning 2 next week.
