Fainting and bathroom question...

I'm preparing for my third c-section.  It's in less than two weeks.  Both previous times, I fainted the first time I tried to go to the bathroom.  I was with nurses so I was in pretty good hands, but it was still really unpleasant and let's just say that my pride levels dropped as fast as they could!.

 I plan to ask again for advices when I'll get there, but I was wondering if you had any wisdom to share.  Thanks!

    No advice, but wanted to tell you you're not alone. I fainted the first time I got up too. I hadn't eaten anything in almost 48 hours (I was very nauseous), so I don't know if that had anything to do with it.

    Same here! I fainted as well so I don't have any advice but am interested in the responses you get.

    It happens. Most likely from from pain and/or drop in blood pressure when you get up. Nothing you can do about it. Get up slowly and sit at the edge of the bed before getting up with help. Good luck.
