Hates gripe water.

He spits it back out instantly. Like violently. He never spits up or throws up really but he does have bad gas that'll make him cry but man. Try that gripe water and blech! I end up wearing it. I've even tried a pacifier medicine thing. He sucked twice then spit all over.

    Just don't use it then. It sounds like it doesn't mesh well with LO. Plus, it's not proven to help at all anyway.

    Boo! Sorry he doesn't like it. Ginger and fennel are pretty interesting tastes on their own, so I can't imagine that I'd like them together much myself. If you find a solution, let me know! I'm afraid of gas drops...

    For DS little remedies gas drops work better for gas and gripe water better for hiccups.

    DD hates gripe water too, same reaction as your LO. Gas drops work way better, she likes the taste and way less volume is needed so easier to give her too.

    Have your tried Colic Calm? It is kinda pricey and it's black but it is supposed to taste good. We used it when Elsie was little.
