I'm thinking everyone [at least the US bumpies] has memorial weekend plans and that's why it's SLOW on here today. So, for those of us who are lurking around waiting for sonething juicy to pop up.....what are you doing???
I'm nursing DS hoping for a pm naps since his sis woke him from his am nap. Ya that was fun. DH gt called into work on an emergency job [plumber] so he'll be gone for a bit. I also have NO idea what to have for dinner. And I want cake.

We are having a pretty craptastic day around here. DD2 decided to party for. 11pm to 2am last night. Then around 4 DD1 starts throwing up and major diarrhea. This is the first time she's gotten a stomach bug. Luckily she seems to be through it now. But now I have to keep her away from DD1. And Im tired!!!

the weather here is super nasty today- 48, rainy and very windy.(i want my 80 degrees back!).. I woke up super early and cleaned the house and the chili is cooking in the crockpot, i have pretty much been lounging on the couch or playing with DS all day.

I'm hiding out at my parent's house. I came back to take a shower and grab another load of stuff to take to our new house. It's looking really good but I am soooooooooo tired. Mina was up most of the night, crying with a mild fever. DH and I took shifts so we are both dragging.

DH is at the gym working out so I'm stuck at home doing laundry until he gets back and then ill get a swim in. Tonight we bought good steaks that are marinating in the fridge and we're going to have those, Gorgonzola and grape spinach salad with a balsamic vinaigrette, mashed potatoes, and a bottle of Chardonnay. After DD goes to bed we're going to continue watching Mad Men.

I'm in BPaw's boat. Not her real boat, but her proverbial one. If we were in the same boat I think we'd be drunk.

DH golfed all day yesterday and went to a guitar workshop this morning. In the past 2 days, he's been out of the house on his own for 12 hours. I left him with the kids to run errands alone.

I went to the grocery store for dinner veggies. We are having Italian chicken foil packets. While there, I grabbed a brownie and iced hazelnut macchiato. I'm sitting in my car enjoying my treat in the bank parking lot. When I'm done, I'll go make my deposit. Until then, I'm bumping. In fact, I just made my first snide remark to something K3pink said in Tula'a Facebook post.

Dinner with MIL. She just asked if I thought about going back to college, because she'd like to watch W. Then in the same breath she told us how she fell down in the bathroom, and had to use the life alert button! Yeah, sure, you can watch W, that seems safe!

I went scuba diving this morning but didn't get back until two hours ago. DH had the kids fed. We are going to sit down and watch Toy Story with the kids tonight.

Ds just went down for the night. I had take out Chinese food yum! With plenty of left covers. I may do some gaming in a bit, but I'm not sure what one, or with dh. Also I have to download some pics to send mil and my mom. :-)

I made spaghetti with spicy tomato sauce and shrimp + cheesy garlic bread for dinner. I just put DD in bed so now DH and I are watching "Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter". I hope it's funny because it got awful reviews!

Oh my goodness today rocks!!

So! I'm like.... I'm going to buy cheese. I haven't bought good cheese in like 5 months, I will buy cheese. So! I set my sights on this ridiculously overpriced organic double apple wood smoked Gouda that tastes something like what I imagine happiness would taste like, if happiness had a taste. It's priced at something ridiculous like 17.59 for 100g. Theres no sticker indicating the exact price, but i know its probably at least 20.00. Ridiculous price for a hunk of cheese. I know.... I know. But I grab it, imagining how amazing it will taste on venison burgers tomorrow. My mouth is watering.

I get to the cash register.... And I'm a cheap person. I am not a fan of spending frivolously... So I'm having kind of a mini panic attack and a conversation in my head that probably sounds like Smeagol.

"We must has the cheeses"
"No! Cheeses too expensive!"
"But, we love the cheeses!"
"No Cheeses!"
"But we looooove the cheeses, we need the cheeses!"

Eventually, Smeagol wins and I say "eff it, YOLO!" [no I didn't... Because I'd seriously have punched myself].

I get to the cash register.... And there is no price on my cheese. The lady looks back at the line and says "agh! There is no price? Do you want me to price check, or can I just charge 5.00 total?"

Um... Yes!

I ran out of there like that crazy lady running out of Ikea in the commercial!

Sorry Safeway.... I feel remotely guilty.... But I has my cheeses.....

Omg love the smeagol part. I LOVE how he talks to himself. So hilarious.

Omg!! Panera has drive thrus!??? It's the same company as Paradise Bakery and they DON'T have drive thrus. There are no Paneras near me. Sad face.

I would sell my left foot for some good cheese.

I just got done b1tching at DH about his job and the hours he works. I really laid into him. Then I also told him the truth that he really only spends 3 hours with DS a day because he's either working or sleeping or getting ready for work or doing stupid crap while DS naps instead of showering and getting ready for work then. It was a glorious argument. Luckily, DH is going to make an effort to spend more time with DS. The bad news, DH is going to have to cut his family vacation short in July because he just started this job a month ago and the new building, he works at a casino, he works at has the grand opening the week we are gone. Fluck.

On a brighter note. In getting ready to out DS to bed. Day 6 of CIO, we'll see how he does tonight. It was 5 mins of crying for two nights two nights ago, but last night he cried for 20. I'm puzzled. Then I'm having a beer and watching my feel good movie, 27 Dresses. Mmm, James Marsden.
