Re: snap and go or car seat adapter?

  • We had the adapters for our normal stroller and it was fantastic. Most snap n gos have little storage and some have very low handles. My theory was I could spend less on the adapter than the snap n go and have one less piece of equipment sitting around.

  • I'm skipping the snap and go, the adapter is cheaper anyone less thing sitting around. Plus the snap and gos seem cheap to me? Aren't  the adapters the same for all models of graco?

    so the new snugrides have new and different bases, so assumed the adapter would be different.  i could be wrong

    I was planning on getting both.Well actually, nbsp;I was planning on getting a Snap N Go and doing Britax BSafe and BAgile or BReady so no adapter necessary.That's what Lucie's List recommends, and I love her!Of course, I don't have a kid yet, so I should probably wait to say whether both are really necessary.nbsp;

    I wouldn't get a snap n go if you are getting the b agile and b safe combo. The b agile is so light and easy to fold, a much better stroller system than a snap n go.
  • I'd get the adapter for the bugaboo.
  • Get the adaptor. The snap and go is only useful for as long as you're willing to lift your baby/carseat combo. They get heavy quick.
  • Team adaptor. I really don't like the snap and go. If it's the Snugride 35 classic and not the new click connect then it will work on the Graco adaptors. The click connects only work with the click connect Graco strollers at the moment.
  • I used a snap and go for about 6 1/2 months. It was great. Easy to use and super light weight. I waited to get a regular stroller because I wanted to be sure that my LO and I both liked it. There was no way to tell that until he was ready to ride in one. I have heard that most travel system strollers aren't that great.

    If you aren't getting a travel system and already have your eye on a regular stroller that you like, I'd just get the stroller with an adapter. No need to buy a snap and go and have a regular stroller.

    We bought our snap and go about 2 years before we actually used it. In those two years so many new strollers came out that I was glad I waited until we actually needed a regular stroller to buy one.

  • I vote snap and go, it is incredibly light weight and easy to use. We are almost to the point where we will need to switch to a convertible car seat and I am not looking forward to it. My snap and go has a decent amount of storage underneath, enough that I use it instead of a cart for most of my shopping.
