Bedtime tantrums

Anyone else experiencing this? Out of no where dd has just turned into a wreck at nap and bed time. Earlier this week we thought she was sick or something because it is so unlike her.

No change in routine. Just now she screams and cries so hard she gags herself. The last 4 nights we have taken her out of her crib for a bit hen tried again and it worked but I realize we are starting a new habit so tonight, I told my husband we have to just let her work through it. All her needs are met but it is awful to listen to her crying.

If you experienced this how long did it last and how did you handle it. I'm at a loss.

    I have heard that from a lot of parents of kids around that age. It's them asserting power I have been told.
    We are not there get, he still likes sleeping.
    From what I have been told it's staying the course and it will resolve itself in a bit. But then, I really have no clue.

    How many naps is she taking and for how long? What time does she go to bed and wake up? She may not have changed routines but maybe she is ready to.

    She wakes up between 7:308 am naps 13:304 and bed is generally anywhere from 7:458:15.

    I always have daycare wake her by 4 and this week she only slept until 3 but from what they said she really fought the nap and one day went completely without.

    Could she need more/less?

    Ps she just gave in and is zonked after a full hour. I went in after 30 min gave a kiss and told her I loved her but she still held out for another scream session then just all of a sudden stopped and went to sleep.

    We experienced something similar at bed time in mid-April.  He used to have no problem with bedtime, but then started crying really hard when we put him down to bed.  He wouldn't fall asleep unless one of us sat in the room until he fell asleep.  It probably took three weeks, but he is now back to normal.
