First week SAH and CD - loving it

I've been a SAHM for a week now and I'm soooo loving it. We are staying with family while in the process of moving, so that has some challenges, but if we can afford it I'd love to do this full time.

I'm also pumped that I could finally start to cloth diaper now (our daycare had refused to CD when I was working full time). It's going well for the most part, I just can't figure out why my Kawaii HD are gapping at the legs. The rest of my stash are kawaii and alvas with snaps and they are working great. And I know it's late to start CDing, but I figured any use I get out of them with G is a bonus and then we plan to use them for our future kiddo.

I also found a moms group on meetup and we are gonna go to our first event at a park next week. Would be nice to make some friends for both of us! And hopefully we can get our own house in the next couple of months.

That's great! I'm glad you're enjoying yourself and that CDing is going well so far.

As for the gaping at the legs, I find that the different types of diapers work better/worse at different stages. Right now our Kawaiis are squeezing Lily's chubby legs and leaving red marks, but if I move to the next size by changing the snaps she'll leak. It's frustrating when they're between and you just have to make the best of it, but then their little body will change shape again and the fit will change.
