Hello everybody! I have a question about Enfamil/Enfagrow formula. Does anyone know what the difference is? My daughter is 10 months (almost 11) and I have a whole bunch of enfagrow toddler cans of formula, but I didn't know if I should break into them or not. My daughter is not the best eater so I thought it might be better to keep her on the infant formula, but now I'm reading that if she's not the best eater, enfagrow might be the way to go. Does anyone know what the actual difference is? The ingredients seem almost the same. Is one thicker than the other? Which would be better? I plan on calling my ped, but I know I'll only talk to the nurse and get a quick answer. I was looking for a little detail on the two formulas. Thanks in advance!!
Re: Enfamil Infant vs. Enfagrow Toddler?
The website states 9 months and up, and it does talk more in detail.

We tried putting our son on Enfagrow at 9 months because we ran out of Infant and we had tons of enfagrow samples. Since it says you could start at 9 months, we did.
But my son had horrible constipation. I'm not sure whether it's the solid foods (although he didn't have any new ones), but we thought Enfagrow was one of the factors. We moved him back to Infant immediately and everything was fine again.
We spoke to his doctor who said that she's surprised if the constipation was caused by Enfagrow (I think most people transition with no problems). But then again, it might be caused by other factors for us. Just to be safe, we moved back to Infant. We'll try to put him on Enfagrow again, but maybe when he turns 1.
I heard most people transition with no problems. I would just make sure that you don't give LO anything new so you could see how he does with Enfagrow, after a day or two.
