Positive test!!!

I have been a member on here and reading for a while, but haven't posted much. A bit of history on us. We met online about 5 1/2 years ago and after daily phone calls, skype chats and visits back and forth we were able to end the distance a year ago when he moved here from New Zealand on a fiance visa. We decided to stop any form of birthcontrol and let nature take it's course. I turned 37 a few months after we married and we knew we didn't have time to waste. We agreed that we wouldn't stress over it just yet as we wanted to try to keep things as easy going as possible. We didn't even talk about it. After 9 months of nothing happening a friend gave me a Clear Blue Easy fertility monitor. The first month I did not reset the monitor, the second month I did a reset so it would have my cycle info. I had been worried that I wasn't ovulating so I thought I would continue using the monitor to see if I ovulated consistantly. On month 3 of using the monitor, I felt like we timed everything just right. About 6 days after I had some cramping then by 9 dpo waves of nausea. I tried not to think anything different but I did feel different this time around. My peiod is not due until the first part of next week but this past Wed. I took a FR test (which was BFN) then after talking to a friend she said that at 12 dpo I should think of testing. 12 dpo was yesterday, but I told myself I would not test. Then without much thought yesterday evening I thought, why not? I had one test left so I took it. I busied myself elsewhere for 3 min then returned sure I would see a BFN. To my surprise there was a faint line! Hubby was not home yet, so I went to the store and bought 3 more tests. I came home and immediately took another......faint pink line! This morning I took another, and there was that line, only this time darker Smile

I have a Dr appointment Monday for a blood test (due to age and that we have been trying a year) Then I have my first OB appointment on June 27th. I know it is way early for the test to even be positive and we have a way to go before I should relax but we can't help being excited! We are waiting a bit before telling most of our friends and family just in case but I knew this would be a place that I can share my excitement. Thanks for reading my long post Smile
