I think I'm going to break my Toms virginity tonight. I'm debating between crocheted and regular. Are the regular ones too warm for the summer. Do they last pretty well?
I wear mine all year. I prefer them at the park because I hate flip flops/sandals and walking in the sand. I've had a my grey pair for two years and they don't have any holes yet. I think the regular ones are more comfortable than the crochet.

They remind me too much of these cheapies from my childhood:
So, unless it is flip flops or birks for summer, I will be sporting boots in the fall/winter and rocking my jeans & running shoes - probably with a hoodie too.

Re: Toms
I have these and I love them. I think any Toms are going to be too hot for the summer, because when it's like 85 or 90 I would prefer flip flops.

Mine have lasted well- I have two pairs and wear them 4 or 5 days a week?
Those are cute!
I was thinking maybe these would be cool enough for summer?

I would imagine they'd be cooler than my pair. I'd go for it!
Good to know! Thanks!
Yeah mine only lasted about a year before getting holes in the toes.
ETA: I loved them though. I don't think they were too hot and they were quite comfy. I will probably get another pair.
I can't get over how fugly they are.
