I say the word "vase" like v-ace. DH says v-oz. Now he has DD saying it like that and it's driving me crazy! How do you pronounce this word? Long A or short A?

Depends on the context. I always say vace arrangement, but I call just a voz, a voz. Hahaha. The family business is in the floral industry and we all mix it up!
