AW - First U/S

Just got back from first U/S! All looks really good. The tiny peanut in there looks around 5 weeks, a little behind my estimate of 5w3d. Doctor saw no heartbeat but told us about 1000 times before the U/S that he didn't expect to see one. We will go back in 2 weeks for a follow up and U/S to confirm heart beat. In the meantime, I am getting blood work done.

I am just happy that we all could see something in there, I am still in disbelief! He even gave us a copy of the U/S. I also got a huge goody bag of stuff! (vitamins, baby book, etc.)

Congrats!! Your ultrasound sounds like mine! Mine was too small to measure and there was also no heartbeat so I got blood work and a follow up in 2 weeks as well! Can 2 weeks be over now?

Right?!! How far along were you for your first U/S? I almost scheduled for later but the doc wanted to see me right away.

Right?!! How far along were you for your first U/S? I almost scheduled for later but the doc wanted to see me right away.

We don't know how far along I am because my dates seem to be off. My LMP was March 21 and I have long cycles. I also didn't even test positive until May 1. When did you get your first positive test?

May 17 (CD32), negatives on May 12 (CD27) and 13 (CD28) - I have a 26 - 28 day cycle usually, so gave up after the first two negatives, drank way too many margaritas, thought cramps were AF coming, then realized AF hadn't come and got the BFP on CD32.
