Returning outfits

After my first shower, I already have a closet full of clothes that are all 3 months!  Not everyone gave me a gift receipt, but most of the clothes were Carters brand.  I'm going to end up taking most of them back to sway for larger sizes.  Since they carry Carters brand at lots of places (Carters store, Macys, Kohls, Buy Buy Baby, etc), how am I supposed to know where they came from?  I'm even wondering if the employees at those stores have any way of tracking if they came from a particular store.  Any thoughts/ideas?

    Since Kohl's has such a laid back return policy, I'd try returning there first.

    I just returned Carter's outfits to BRU with no receipt. I don't know if that's where they came from, but they took them and gave me full price back on a gift card.

    Try kohls they seem to take anything back! I returned something from a year ago and they took it. Or buy the same outfit in a bigger size and if u have a tagging gun just switch the tags. I never did that I swear!

    Thanks....I will try Kohls first.  Yeah, I'm trying to decide if I want to exchange them for bigger sizes or just get store credit at BRU and put that towards our bigger items (stroller, car seat, etc).

    you could always save the store credit and shop for more clothes when the baby is 6 months or more old too.

    The BRU here will take returns up to a certain dollar amount without a receipt. I think it's up to 75.
    I think if you are going for store credit, it may be less of an issue.

    I'd try Kohls first. You can always do an even exchange for a larger size and their return policies are very liberal.

    I work at BRU.. We take all Carter's back unless it's from Carter's outfit. They have special tagging and pricing which our systems just won't allow us to proceed with!

    I had the same issue, I took everything back to the Carter's store and they can actually tell you where they were from.  They told me each and every item and made it so much easier.
