Anyone else GBS+?

I wasn't with my first, but there were big red stamps all over my chart about it this time.  I know I'll have to have antibiotics during labor, but is there anything else I should know?  And where the hell does it come from??

    I forget where it comes from. And all I was told was that I'll have two bags on antibiotics when I go into labor. I think I should google and get details.

    There is nothing much to it. you receive antibiotics through your IV during labor. Just make sure you tell them right away you are so they can start that for you. It's something that comes and goes.

    I am. I was told that it naturally grows in some womens vagina. They said all the antibotic in the world won't kill it, and it doesn't harm you, but you don't want to pass it to the baby. I got a handout on it. They just said they would mix in the antibiotic with all my other fluids during delivery. Its not a big deal at all.

    I am. I posted this question last night.  Someone mentioned pro-biotics?  I need to ask my Dr. about it, but she said that for some women who start taking a pill form of the antibiotic the weeks leading up to delivery, it can make it go away.  They would swab you again, if you're negative, no antibiotics during labor.  Confused
