Hi everyone, I'm new to the board and 7 1/2 weeks pregnant after 4 previous miscarriages, no live babies. I was diagnosed with homozygous MTHFR and am praying that my dr has found the right vitamin/supplement mixture to help this baby stick. I have never made it passed 8 1/2 weeks after seeing heartbeats each time around 6/7 weeks. I went last Thursday and this was the first time doc said that the heartbeat looks really strong! But I don't go back until next Thursday and am having a hard time relaxing and I know it's vital that I do. So I'm hoping you all can help. I've never been one to have pregnancy symptoms, but I was feeling nauseas however, that has kind of gone away earlier this week, and besides peeing all the time I'm really just hungry all the time. My boobs feel heavier and have definitely increased in size. But no vomiting, no soreness of my boobs, I'm not tired, in fact I'm having trouble sleeping....
Has anyone here been diagnosed with MTHFR? And made it into their second trimester? For this pregnancy my doc put me on baby asprin as well as Lovenox injections daily, extra folic acid in addition to my prenatal vit, and I'm also taking extra b12 and extra b6 separately. I also am on progesterone suppositories twice a day.
Thanks for reading and I appreciate any advice...
Re: Hello, new to board
Congratulations! I can't help with your specific diagnosis but do trust that the symptoms vary widely from woman to woman, pregnancy to pregnancy, and for me at least, day to day!
I have days where my boobs are so sore I can't sleep on my stomach and days that they're normal. I go a week without nausea and then one day can't eat normally, and I'm always tired but sometimes have trouble sleeping. It's sooo much easier said than done but try to take it one day at a time. Right now you are pregnant and your Dr is taking good care of you. Best of luck and I hope you're here for 32.5 more weeks!
