First let me introduce myself since I am new to the board
DD was born 1/9/13 via c-section- went to my 38 week appointment like no big deal and BAM my BP spiked and I had to have a emergency c-section the next day and spent a week in the hospital, lemme tell ya how much fun that was. Anywho I am a FTM and I work FT in marketing as well, husband and I have been together 5 years and married 2.
So we have been going through a awful 4 month wakeful period for the last almost 2 weeks. However something CRAZY happened last night I wanted to share. She goes to bed between 630-7pm and when I mean goes to bed I mean she is OUT. I would like for this to be a little later but home girl wont take a 4th nap so her last wake time of the day means early bed time.
We gave her rice cereal last night for the first time, she maybe got 3 or 4 spoonfuls, wasn't too crazy about it. Did our night time routine and finished her off with a 6oz bottle. She woke up at 11:45 to eat, fed her a 4oz bottle. My husband does the second feeding of the night normally around 3am. So around 4am my husband wakes me up almost in a panic asking why I haven't woke him to feed Claire (the monitor is on my side of the bed she sleeps in he crib). In a panic I'm grabbing the monitor thinking OMG my baby has been crying and I didn't hear her!!! I get up only to see home girl is SOUND ASLEEP.
She slept from 12-6am with out waking up once, let me tell you this has NEVER happened. Then when she woke up instead of fussing she was just cooing and taking to the sea horse in her crib. My point of sharing this was to tell everyone who is going through the dreaded 4 month wakeful period that it does end! DD will be 5 months on June 9th so I'm hoping this means our up every 3 hour period is behind us!
