I'm starting the transition from BF to formula, before LO goes to daycare, so I picked up the type of formula that they use on daycare to see if he likes it or if I'll need to provide my own (Gerber good start). I bought a can of the powder, and also a pack of "nursettes," little 3 oz glass bottles that you just pop a nipple on and feed.
He guzzles down the powder, but absolutely turns his nose up at the nursettes... anybody have any experience with this? I assumed they'd be the same, but they look different, smell different, and apparently must taste different. Disappointing, because I was hoping that would make things easy for MOTN feedings.
Thanks
Jess
Re: Pre-mixed single serving formula
TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!
Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!
What's this container you're talking about? Sounds super handy.
I think he doens't like the pre-mixed bottles. DH tried to give it to him tonight while I was out, and it was a no-go. that's okay. We'll just stick to the powder as we transition... I don't want to force something on him that he doesn't like (especially if it is loaded with preservatives, yuck, I don't even like to eat that stuff myself).
