Baby's Dream furniture

I'm just throwing this out there as advice for new mommas who are thinking of Baby's Dream furniture.  DH and I decided to make the investment into Baby's Dream furniture crib and double dresser. We ordered it 8 weeks ago ( I was 22 weeks)  and just found out that it is on backorder and not expected to arrive until a week or 2 before our baby is due at the very earliest.  I've been trying to work with the company to resolve the issue but it seems the majority of their product is special order and the availability is incredibly limited.  The replacement set I've chosen is an "in stock" item as of now and still expected to take 6-8 weeks.

    It is very well made quality furniture, but beware of the turnaround time. order it early (like first trimester early) and know that backorder in excess of 10-15 weeks is possible. Had my retailer informed me of this, I may have been  more prepared.
