Biofreeze?

I work as a waitress, and it is taking a toll on my hips, along with me straining my wrist yesterday. My MIL gave me a tube of biofreeze (which I've never used even before pregnant), and said it works wonders. Wondering if it is safe to use while pregnant? It's topical, but I know there are some things you should not put on your skin.

My OB said it would be fine to use bengay, icy-hot, biofreeze, aspercream when I asked him

Another option -- my mw said arnica gel is a-ok, though it's better for sore muscles than joints, and i find it helpful.

Pregnancy is not a contraindication for using biofreeze.
