My son is going to be 1 next week, and we are just moving over to this board. It was shocking when it showed up on my page, but skimming through the post, it's so obvious that I should be here now lol!
Anyway, I'm just wondering if you all are doing any learning activities with your 1 year olds. My son is pretty independent so during the day he does a lot of exploring around the house. He tends to prefer things he finds in cabinets and closets to his actual toys! We also read a lot, listen to music, play outside, etc. I guess I'm looking for more specific age-appropriate activities we can do here at home. Would love to know what your doing with your LO.
Re: Activities w/ 1 Year Old
Thanks! This is how I feel too, but you know occasionally the pressure to "do more" kicks in.
PP, I subscribe to Productive Parenting, and a lot of what I'm currently getting seems a bit too simple for my guy. Thanks for your suggestions!
you can adjust the age on productive parenting. A lot of the stuff I was getting was too advanced for him.
All of this!
