Good morning everyone!
Just wanting to introduce myself. I got my bfp yesterday at 16dpo!! i did Clomid and Ovidrel injection when RE instructed. We are over the moon excited!!
This will be my 2nd child. My son in the picture below was born at 38 weeks and 2 days in August 2012. He was born with a problem where his stomach and esophagus were not connected. He had surgery but died 6 days later. this is not something that they knew about until after he was born. he is still a huge part of our family and we never have up hope that we will have a baby in our arms.
This pregnancy will be very special to my husband and i. It will be hard to be pregnant after a loss but I hope to keep my mind at ease and enjoy each and every second.
Looking forward to meeting you all! We are going to have a great start to 2014!

Congrats! I am so sorry for your loss. I had something similar happen in July 2012. Please feel free to pm me, as I am sure that we have are feeling the same way about the pregnancy. Overjoyed, but extremely nervous!

Yes that is what the condition was. He had a TE fistula put in on 4 days old and made it through the 8 hour surgery with flying colors and they were able to connect the esophagus to the stomach. Please let your friend know that I will be sending good thoughts her way. It is a very rough road having a baby born with this condition and I hear more and more about babies born and surviving with this condition. These babies are very dear to my heart and the parents are just as amazing because it is an emotional road and I would only imagine what it is like with the short time I had with DS.
