3cm?

So I'm 100% effaced and 3 cm as of my appointment this morning. I'm wondering if anyone else got a diagnosis like that. how much longer now is the question???? I know it could be hours, days, or weeks...but I'm ready! This weekend would be amazing. Anyone else feeling this weekend?

    I told my husband, that I would love to have the baby tomorrow after work, so that we both would have a long weekend off of work! If I could plan it that.would def.  be mine.

    I just had the exact same measurements! Crazy! I am so excited but really want to know when he'll come!

    Exactly what you said... it could be hours, days, weeks... I got SUPER excited when I was told I am 1cm dilated and 60% effaced at zero station.. got checked again yesterday with no progress... You just have to sit back and try to enjoy your last days of being pregnant.. Easier said than done, but I've made a conscious effort to just enjoy the ride (I was also starting to drive myself insane).

    I've been 1 cm for the last 3 appointments.  Unfortunately that means nothing and I could have the baby tonight or I could have the baby in 4 weeks.  When I made my guess months ago I guessed the baby would be born the 26th, so we'll see on Sunday if that's right or not. 

    I do know it's a full moon tomorrow and a holiday weekend so that'll help some of us out.

    I've been walking around at 3cm with the head engaged for over 2 weeks now. I had an internal at 35w5d and now at 38w1d, here I am, still waiting. So yeah, it means nothing except that doctor's like to tease us, that's what I've decided at least.

    Yes me too. I was at 1 cm since week 35. No change yet! Doesn't mean much.

    I was 4 cm 100 percent with my son for about 4 weeks! When I was induced at 41 weeks 5 days I was 5 cm.

    I was 100% effaced and around 3 cm dilated.  My contractions were five minutes apart and could no longer talk through them.  My OB noticed that I dropped out of the conversation when I had a contraction and he told us that is a great sign.  Once you can no longer talk through your contractions it is time to head to the hospital. My OB immediately admitted me to the hospital and I had my daughter that very night. All good stuff that you are completely effaced and 3 cm dilated I wouldn't be surprised if you have your baby before the weekend. Good luck! :)
